Professor Paul Dixon is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Politics, Birkbeck College, University of London. He is the author of 'Performing the Northern Ireland Peace Process: In Defence of Politics' (Palgrave 2018). Paul researches Peace and War and uses a theatrical metaphor to understand the dynamics of politics. He is currently researching a book provisionally entitled, 'Warrior Nation: War, Militarisation and British Democracy'
